Q. Four under today, kind of always tough to follow such a great round yesterday, but keep plugging away. What are your thoughts heading into the weekend?

WILL GORDON: I played solid today, hit it nicely. I didn't give myself as many close looks today and then I didn't convert a couple putts, but I mean, it was a solid day. Bogey-free 4 under, another step in the right direction. So a long way to go and two solid days under me.

Q. What's the mindset heading into the weekend?

WILL GORDON: Just continue to do the same thing, try to just control what I can control and still stick to my process and be aggressive. I felt like coming down the stretch a little I lost some speed on some putts. I don't know whether that was a little bit of hesitancy or whatever, but just try to be free the next couple days.

Q. And with the situation, where do you pull from past situations where you found success, especially like Boise?

WILL GORDON: Yeah, I've been fortunate, like I've had some opportunities out here and I haven't really succeeded, so I think I'm more to looking at what are the things I can do better and learning from past experiences out here, and on Korn Ferry when I have succeeded, what did I do in those moments. I think it all just reminds me to just try to continue to stay in the moment and execute my routines and have high commitment and high acceptance and just enjoy the next 36 holes.

Q. Being back on Tour, what were some of the big takeaways from last year with KFT?

WILL GORDON: Yeah, I think it just gave me a little bit more space, a little less distractions to kind of develop. You just try to continue to day by day get better. And I think throughout the year Korn Ferry has a bunch of different types of golf courses, so I learned that I can compete on a whole bunch of different setups. This time around, too, on the Korn Ferry I got to play some golf courses I played before, so out here, this is my third time here, so I feel like I'm pretty aware of what's going on out here so everything's not new this time around out here, so it's pretty nice.
